As an integral part of the Universal Creative team, Themespace developed the redesign of the Shrek 4D attraction for the DreamWorks Theater: Kung Fu Panda Adventure. The design of the theater took on the classic Spanish Hollywood Revival style popular at the start of Universal Studios and melds seamlessly with the theme parks main entry sequence. The attraction utilizes the key characters from the Dreamworks franchises who argue whose show it is going to be. It's Po's show of course. Themespace provided creative direction and show set design to guide the narrative and projection-mapped animation integration with the theater. Extensive mock-ups and studies were done to ensure a captivating blend of innovative 4D technologies. Best of all, audiences always clap and cheer at the end of both the Preshow and the Mainshow. In our world that is the hallmark of an attraction that is well done!
